etc.), leasing, energy performance contracts (EPCs) and energy service companies (ESCO), for the financing of investments into energy Supports provided by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey<br><em>a. Productivity Enhancement Project (PEP \/ VAP)<\/em><\/p><\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-95f3d1f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"95f3d1f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>Projects aimed at preventing or minimising the unnecessary use of energy, as well as energy losses and waste, by means of energy-efficient equipment and systems, insulation, rehabilitation and process rearrangements, include such solutions as the recovery of waste energy and the use of cogeneration systems, which are considered Productivity Enhancement Project (PEPs).<\/p>\n<p>In this context, projects with a maximum investment value of TRY 5,000,000 excluding VAT are supported by the Ministry with a maximum of 30 percent of the project cost provided as a grant.<\/p>\n<p>Applications for Productivity Enhancement Project (PEPs) for 2020 have started to be received by the Ministry, and applications for Productivity Enhancement Project (PEPs) prepared by ESCOs for Industrial Enterprises will continue until 31 December, 2020.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f2cb4ad elementor-widget elementor-widget-sm-default-button\" data-id=\"f2cb4ad\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"sm-default-button.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<a target=\"_blank\"  href=\"https:\/\/enerji.gov.tr\/duyuru-detay?id=60\" class=\"btn  \">Detayl\u0131 Bilgi  \u0130\u00e7in<i class=\"ti ti-arrow-right\"><\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-57bb175 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"57bb175\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-6b2e200\" data-id=\"6b2e200\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cda3030 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"cda3030\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default elementor-align-after-left\"><p><em>b. Voluntary Agreement Supports<\/em><\/p><\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5e7c2c0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5e7c2c0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>Voluntary Agreements are agreements that an industrial enterprise concludes with the Ministry by committing to reduce energy intensity by at least 10 percent on average in the 3 years following the agreement, based on the reference energy density of the past five years. Within the scope of voluntary agreement support, 30 percent of the energy expenses of an enterprise that fulfils its commitments for the year in which the agreement is made are covered in cash, up to a limit of 1,000,000 TL.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-9b9a47d elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"9b9a47d\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-62a935a\" data-id=\"62a935a\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7422d66 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7422d66\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default elementor-align-after-left\"><p><em>c. 5th Regional Incentives<\/em><\/p><\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d9f52ee elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d9f52ee\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>Based on the approval of the project by the Ministry, investments for energy efficiency with a minimum of 500 TEP energy consumption per year that are designed to provide energy savings of at least 20 percent compared to the current situation, and energy savings with a maximum investment return period of 5 years, can benefit from incentives granted for the 5th Region, regardless of the region in which the investment is made.<\/p>\n<p>The incentives to be benefited include value added tax exemption, customs tax exemption, tax reduction, support for employer\u2019s insurance premium share, interest support and allocation of investment location.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ec9df18 elementor-widget elementor-widget-sm-default-button\" data-id=\"ec9df18\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"sm-default-button.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<a target=\"_blank\"  href=\"https:\/\/enerji.gov.tr\/bilgi-merkezi-enerji-verimliligi-destekleri\" class=\"btn  \">Detayl\u0131 Bilgi  \u0130\u00e7in<i class=\"ti ti-arrow-right\"><\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-60e2228 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"60e2228\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-row\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-65588e9\" data-id=\"65588e9\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c325707 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c325707\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default elementor-align-after-left\">Leasing<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-13a7864 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"13a7864\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>As a medium- and long-term financing method, leasing stands out as an alternative financial model used by companies of different scales operating in the manufacturing and services sector for investments. VAT exemption for certain products is one of the factors that makes leasing attractive for companies.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of energy efficiency, leasing is mostly used in the investments of companies for generators and for heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
