Project Information Seminars were held with the participation of SMEs operating in seven OIZs \u2013 as the TEVMOT pilot sites \u2013 in January and February. The seminars held in the seven OIZs were joined by 400 people, and written participation requests were received from 100 enterprises under the Project.<\/p>\n\n

During the opening speeches at the seminars, the host OIZs explained to SMEs the importance of taking part in the project from the perspective of the OIZs. G\u00fcrsu Sezen Torun, Fatma \u00c7il and Nilay D\u00f6nmez, all experts from the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, expressed to the industrialists the commitment of the Ministry to the transformation of inefficient electric motors with energy efficient motors , with references to the studies carried out by the Ministry on energy efficiency in motors.<\/p>\n\n

Erik Gudbjerg, an International Technical Consultant of TEVMOT Project, made a presentation on the necessity of motor replacement giving examples from good international applications on efficient electric motors. Dr. Asuman S\u00f6nmez, Finance Consultant of the TEVMOT Project, made a presentation assessing the financial aspect of energy efficiency. After the presentations of the project consultants, KOSGEB experts explained \u201cEnergy-Efficient Electric Motors Replacement Support\u201d to SMEs. The final presentation at the meetings was made by Mustafa Salman, TEVMOT Project Manager, in which he gave general information about the TEVMOT Project and explained the steps to be followed in the motor replacement support process.<\/p>\n\n
